Buy Ruby Vase® Persian Ironwood online. ‘Ruby Vase’ is an introduction into the Parrotia genus that showcases a growth habit that is much more upright and narrower than P. persica. Its leaves emerge in the spring with red tips that surround a green center, then darkens to solid green throughout summer. In fall, it is covered in bright reds and oranges. Because of its growth habit, this is an excellent tree used in urban settings, or areas where large trees are not suitable.
