Our returns policy is designed with the same attention we give to cultivating our Alpinus x callizones hybrids—thoughtful, transparent, and rooted in your satisfaction.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items. To be eligible for a return:

  • Plants must be in their original, resalable condition (alive and undamaged)
  • Original packaging must be intact (pots may show minor shipping wear)
  • Proof of purchase is required (order number or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their delicate nature, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Bare-root plants (including our Alba specimens)
  • Seasonal or clearance items (marked as such in product descriptions)
  • Custom or special-order plants (like bulk Africanus species orders)
  • Plants that have been planted or removed from original containers

How to Initiate a Return

Our return process is as straightforward as planting Ajuga groundcover:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for approval – Our garden specialists will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package carefully – Securely repack the plant in its original container with adequate protection
  4. Ship back – Use the provided return label (return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility)
  5. Receive confirmation – We’ll notify you when your return is processed

Exchange Process

If you’d like to exchange your Acer ginnala for another variety (perhaps an Acer platanoides), follow the same steps as above, noting your preferred exchange item in your initial email. Exchanges are subject to availability in our nursery.

Refund Information

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days):

  • Refund method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Processing time: 3-5 business days after approval
  • Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

For damaged or incorrect items, we’ll cover return shipping costs and provide a full refund including original shipping.
